Daily Responsibilities

In this position, you will oversee the sales and marketing efforts for the Digital Grid (DG) portfolio within the Grid Technology Sales (GT S) sector. Your role will be pivotal in executing the company’s strategic initiatives, formulating a strategic plan for regional opportunity pipeline development, budgeting, and revenue generation. You will serve as a key liaison between the GT S and DG teams, amplifying the sales efforts across the organization.

Key Contributions

  • Engage with potential collaborators, including transmission system operators (TSOs), electric distribution firms (DSOs), renewable energy developers, and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies.
  • Identify growth opportunities and expand the business, including the discovery of potential partners, under the guidance of the Digital Grid team.
  • Lead marketing initiatives such as trade shows, conferences, and promotional events.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback and conduct win/loss assessments to extract valuable insights.
  • Utilize SalesForce and other analytical tools to maintain transparency and track the development of the sales pipeline.
  • Manage the pipeline and prioritize market approaches effectively.
  • Prepare for and participate in Monthly Business Reviews with regional management and the DG organization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the power transmission and distribution sector, preferably with a focus on Protection and Control.
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
  • Significant experience in promoting and selling high voltage (HV) and medium voltage (MV) solutions along with associated digital offerings.
  • Strong understanding of high and medium voltage applications, power transmission and distribution systems, power electronics, renewable energy generation, and power system planning.
  • Familiarity with the Grid Automation industry, including market dynamics, competitors, and trends.
  • Insight into customer requirements regarding electrical power systems analysis, network planning, and grid development throughout project lifecycles.
  • A well-established network of contacts within Utilities, Industries, and Renewable Energy sectors.
  • Proven experience in customer relationship management and partnership development, with a robust client base.
  • Strong sales and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to prioritize challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on results.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Italian, both written and spoken.
