As our next Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in managing the success of our Agilent Chemistries & Supplies consumables portfolio, which includes our GC & HPLC columns, sample preparation solutions, and laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sales growth by engaging with existing and potential clients across various sectors within your assigned territory.
• Cultivate and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
• Assess customer requirements and identify tailored solutions to address unique challenges, thereby creating business opportunities.
• Promote and market products and solutions to both current and prospective clients, while keeping them informed about new product launches.
• Develop and refine lead generation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Formulate and implement strategic approaches to sales assignments to meet targets.
• Coordinate projects that require collaboration with various functions and organizations.
This position is not office-based; you will work remotely while traveling to customer locations in Central Italy, particularly in the Lazio region, as well as Umbria, Toscana, and Emilia-Romagna (a company vehicle will be provided).
Qualifications:
We seek a driven individual with the following qualifications:
• A University Degree in Chemistry (such as Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related Life Science field).
• Proven experience in sales within laboratory environments and a solid understanding of laboratory workflows.
• Familiarity with analytical techniques including chromatography, spectrometry, and/or spectroscopy.
• Proficient in Italian and possess at least a good level of English.
On a personal level, you are self-sufficient, personable, and customer-oriented. You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills to engage with various external and internal partners. You exhibit a genuine can-do attitude, resilience, and a desire to assist others. While being flexible and adaptable, you also possess strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
