About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Fellow to join our Artificial and Mechanical Intelligence research line at Istituto Italiano De Tecnologia. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of reinforcement learning methods for humanoid robot locomotion, with a focus on unstructured environments populated by humans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop software applications for cutting-edge robotics research
  • Prepare proof of concept technologies
  • Support research line activities
Requirements
  • Master or PhD Degree in Robotics or Artificial Intelligence related topics
  • Knowledge of at least one of the following software: C++, Python
  • English language skills (written and oral)
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with deploying algorithms onto real robotic systems, with reinforcement Learning or with exteroceptive robot sensors
  • Outstanding technical and theoretical skills
  • Creative, proactive and collaborative attitude
