About the role

We are currently seeking a talented and innovative Pastry Chef de Partie to join our prestigious hotel.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, you will oversee the creation of a variety of sweet offerings, including pastries, breads, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, chocolates, and decorative showpieces for guest and event orders. Your role will ensure consistent quality by adhering to recipe specifications and production, portion, and presentation standards. You will be responsible for:

  • Completing mise en place and preparing service stations.
  • Maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Labeling food containers and managing inventory rotation.
  • Ensuring perishables are stored at appropriate temperatures.
  • Assessing preparation needs and managing food waste.
  • Mentoring and developing team members.
  • Delivering exceptional service to our guests consistently.

Qualifications

You should possess culinary and supervisory experience in a luxury hotel setting, showcasing a creative flair that enhances our food and beverage offerings.
