We are seeking a dedicated Aviation Technical Training Specialist to enhance our Engineering Training department. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about aviation and have a strong desire to educate others on various aircraft engineering subjects. The successful candidate will serve as a training advocate, upholding the exemplary standards we strive for within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive technical training to engineering personnel, ensuring adherence to the highest industry benchmarks, including:
    • Training aligned with organizational needs across multiple airlines
    • Part 145 theoretical and practical training sessions
    • Specialized training tailored to specific aircraft types
  • Revise and enhance existing training programs
  • Create instructional materials, including course outlines, lesson plans, and training aids
  • Maintain familiarity with EASA regulations and conduct regular reviews of relevant training procedures
  • Utilize diverse training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual) to develop and approve training content
  • Provide practical and engaging technical training sessions
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of training facilities to foster ongoing learning
  • Exhibit a proactive, hands-on approach to training
  • Demonstrate strong organizational capabilities to design and implement effective training programs
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally

We are looking for a candidate with a background in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering. The ideal individual will be eager to learn, contribute innovative ideas, and engage collaboratively with a diverse team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as the role involves interaction with colleagues from various backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications:

  • Possession of a UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or equivalent experience in aircraft technical training or a minimum of 5 years in aircraft engineering
  • Experience in evaluating regulations and compliance procedures
  • Attention to detail with the ability to escalate issues as necessary
  • Proficient in planning and meeting deadlines set by management
  • Familiarity with Office 365 and a willingness to learn new software tools
  • Capability to analyze and provide constructive feedback on compliance issues
  • Effective communication skills across various platforms (verbal, face-to-face, virtual)
  • Open-mindedness and a desire to acquire new skills and share fresh ideas
  • Strong work ethic and accountability for timely task completion
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges
