Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of mechanical engineering requirements, studying system drawings, and providing technical interface with customers. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of medium to large projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of mechanical engineering requirements for each project
  2. Study and become familiar with elementary system drawings, conveyor manifests, and engineering hours estimates
  3. Provide technical interface with customer project representatives and ensure project scope definitions are met
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential project risks
  5. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve project delivery

Requirements

  1. 3-5 years of experience in material handling equipment, preferably in the conveyor systems industry
  2. Proven track record of executing and supporting medium to large projects
  3. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and design
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment

Travel Requirements

Some international travel may be required, approximately 15% of the time, depending on project needs and urgency.
