STMicroelectronics is seeking a highly skilled Material Planning and Support Specialist to join our team. As a key contributor to our manufacturing facility start-up, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize material levels and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address supply chain bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Plan and execute the selection of materials to be withdrawn from warehouse, ensuring alignment with equipment and process requirements.
- Establish and maintain protocols for scrap and waste management, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Support the setup and deployment of software solutions to manage manufacturing activities, including contract management for outsourced services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in production planning, material planning, or a related field.
- Excellent data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
Language Requirements
- Fluent in English (business level).
