About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, and collaborative individuals who are passionate about the transportation sector and possess strong analytical skills. The successful candidate will join our Modeling Team and must be fluent in both Italian and English.

This role involves working on various projects for public and private sector clients, including local transport operators, concessionaires, investment firms, financial institutions, and governmental bodies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting traffic due diligence and transportation planning
  • Developing intricate transportation models and performing related analytical tasks using various technical tools (e.g., VISUM, VISSIM, Emme, CUBE)
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organization to deliver high-quality consulting services to our clients

Requirements

Essential qualifications include:

  • A Master's degree in planning, engineering, or a related field, preferably with a focus on transportation
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Excel)
  • Experience with Macrosimulation and/or Microsimulation Network modeling (VISUM/VISSIM)
  • Understanding and application of logit models
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and produce well-structured reports and presentations
  • Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Legal authorization to work in the European Union without employer sponsorship

Additional skills that will be viewed favorably:

  • Familiarity with GIS software
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis tools (R, Stata)
