About The Role

Gleeds Corporate Services Ltd is seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing contracts for construction projects, providing support to key projects in a full range of related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contract Oversight: Ensure contract compliance and oversee the assurance process.
  • Contract Management and Administration: Draft and issue project correspondence on behalf of the client, manage and administer contracts.
  • Claims Preparation and Assessment: Prepare and assess claims related to contracts.
  • Change Control and Variation Management: Manage change control and variation processes.
  • Subcontracting Strategy and Oversight: Develop and oversee subcontracting strategies.
  • Commercial Risk Management: Proactively manage commercial risks.
  • Project Meetings: Lead project meetings as required.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Broad Technical Knowledge: A broad spectrum of technical knowledge relating to contract management.
  • Contract Management Experience: Experience managing contracts for construction projects, with experience working with FIDIC being a plus.
  • Construction Procurement Strategies: Knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Methodical Approach: A methodical way of thinking and approach to work.
  • Problem Solving and Negotiation Skills: Excellent problem-solving, negotiating, financial, and numeracy skills.
  • ICT Skills: Sound ICT skills, with a high proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Italian.
