Technical Training Instructor

We are currently seeking a dedicated Technical Training Instructor to enhance our Engineering Training department. This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong passion for aviation and are enthusiastic about imparting knowledge on various aircraft engineering subjects to our personnel, whether they are just beginning their careers or are seasoned professionals.

The successful candidate will be tasked with:

  • Delivering comprehensive technical training to engineering personnel, adhering to the highest industry standards, which includes:
    • Conducting training sessions tailored to business requirements across multiple airlines
    • Providing both theoretical and practical training in accordance with Part 145 regulations
    • Facilitating specialized training for specific aircraft types
  • Developing and refining existing training programs
  • Creating instructional materials such as course outlines, lesson plans, and training aids
  • Ensuring familiarity with EASA regulations and regularly reviewing all relevant procedures
  • Utilizing diverse training delivery methods (classroom, eLearning, virtual) to develop and approve training content
  • Delivering technical training in an engaging and practical manner
  • Maintaining and enhancing training facilities to support continuous learning
  • Exhibiting a proactive, hands-on approach to training
  • Demonstrating strong organizational skills to design and implement effective training programs
  • Communicating clearly, both in writing and verbally, with strong presentation abilities

We are looking for a candidate with experience in aircraft technical training or aircraft engineering. The ideal individual will be eager to learn, contribute innovative ideas to the training team, and engage effectively with a diverse group of colleagues. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be collaborating with individuals from various backgrounds and age groups. We value meticulousness, a positive attitude, and an open-minded approach in our team members.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a UK/EASA Part 66 Licence or an Aerospace Engineering degree, or demonstrable experience in aircraft technical training or at least 5 years in aircraft engineering.
  • Experience in reviewing regulations and compliance-based procedures
  • A keen attention to detail with the ability to escalate issues as necessary
  • Proficient in planning and adhering to deadlines set by management
  • Good working knowledge of Office 365, with a willingness to learn new software tools
  • Ability to critically assess and provide constructive feedback regarding compliance issues
  • Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with the team through various communication channels
  • Open-mindedness and eagerness to acquire new skills and share innovative ideas
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility for timely task completion
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proactive in identifying solutions and communicating them to management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must hold a valid UK/EU passport and be willing to travel as required by the business.
