Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Energy Coordinator to join our team for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating energy activities, managing temporary power systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of electrical distribution grids during the Games.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate energy activities for EVM Venue Manager, NRG Cluster Manager, and interested FAs
  • Manage Temporary Power Systems (energy overlay facilities)
  • Operate electrical in-venue distribution grids during Games Time
  • Manage contractors' workforce activities
  • Coordinate dismantling operations of Temporary Power Systems
  • Plan, participate, and report on meetings for IOC/OBS documents
  • Develop Venue's Energy Supply Requirements
  • Plan and deliver Energy Supply Services according to OCOG Risk Management Policies
  • Support Test Events Energy Supply Services Project Delivery Plan
  • Verify completion of MV and LV Power installations and operational testing
  • Collaborate on preparation of Detailed Design Documents and Specifications
  • Support power systems bump-out activities

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience in management of people working on shifts on Power Systems sector and in Project Management
  • Experience in management of suppliers/contractors and related contracts
  • Experience in design, construction, and operation of overlay power supply and distribution systems
  • Proficient user of Office Suite and related construction software
  • Able to understand written and spoken English
