Position Overview

An exceptional opportunity awaits for a collaborative HR Manager/HR Business Partner with a strategic mindset and a focus on operational HR matters to lead the HR agenda for Italy.

This managerial role is designed to provide HR business partnering support to the General Manager and the leadership team of the Italian Commercial Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partner:

  • Deliver strategic partnership primarily to the General Manager and the leadership team of the Italian Commercial Business Unit.
  • Offer strategic guidance and establish direction for the people agenda.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and prepare the organization for future strategies, including capability assessments and development processes; assist the leadership team in organizational development and talent management; co-create and drive the engagement agenda.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor for people leaders to enhance performance and team effectiveness.
  • Advise and co-develop the leadership team to function effectively alongside the Business Unit leader.
  • Ensure impactful implementation of core HR processes in collaboration with global Centers of Excellence (CoE).
  • Oversee recruitment prioritization and organizational governance, adhering to design principles.
  • Utilize CoEs as business needs arise, supported by our operational teams.

Site Leadership:

  • Accountable for the HR and social agenda within Italy.
  • Collaborate with business and HR departments to provide regional insights and ensure global processes are effectively localized.
  • Maintain close collaboration with shared service centers, operational HR departments, and external labor consultants for seamless execution of employee lifecycle processes.

The LEGO Group's People, Places, and Culture (PPC) organization encompasses five main areas: Talent, Reward, Insights, Diversity & Inclusion, and People Partnering.

People Partnering includes Business Partnering as well as local employee relations, benefits, policies, and execution. This organization is responsible for developing and implementing the people and culture agenda in alignment with the strategic direction of the LEGO Group.

This role is integrated within the People Partnering team in Western Europe, driving all partnering and local people initiatives within the region.

Qualifications

  • Extensive HR experience in a global, matrixed organization, with the ability to balance local needs against global directives.
  • Familiarity with the HR landscape in Italy and proficiency in addressing complex legal and compliance issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills at all levels, demonstrated through effective written and verbal communication. Change management and business coaching experience is advantageous.
  • Business acumen with experience in project work and project management tools.
  • Experience in utilizing data to inform decisions, particularly regarding compensation and statutory reporting.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while navigating ambiguity.
  • Open-minded, solution-oriented, structured, and collaborative approach.
  • Fluency in both Italian and English.
