About the location:

Experience iconic sophistication in Milan's trendiest district. A former 15th-century convent transformed into a refined garden retreat, Four Seasons Hotel Milano serves as a sanctuary in the heart of Milan's Fashion District. About the role

We currently have an opening for a skilled and imaginative Pastry Chef de Partie to join our prestigious hotel, Four Seasons Milano in Italy.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Pastry Chef, you will oversee and manage the creation of desserts, pastries, breads, cakes, ice creams, sorbets, fruit compotes, chocolates, and decorative pieces for guest and banquet events. Your role will ensure consistent quality by adhering to recipe specifications, production standards, and presentation guidelines. You will also be responsible for:

  • Completing mise en place and organizing service stations.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Labeling food containers and managing inventory according to policy.
  • Ensuring proper storage temperatures for perishables.
  • Assessing inventory needs and preparing accordingly.
  • Implementing strategies to minimize food waste.
  • Developing and mentoring team members.
  • Delivering exceptional service to our guests consistently.

Qualifications

You should possess culinary and supervisory experience in a luxury hotel setting, along with a creative flair that adds a personal touch to our culinary offerings.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is based at the Four Seasons Milan and will be offered as a fixed-term contract.

You must have the legal right to work in Italy and be fluent in Italian.
