Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Milan, Italy. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and knowledge in fire life safety projects and permitting processes with the National Fire Brigade.

Responsibilities

  • Apply national and international regulations and standards on Fire and Life Safety in various corporate areas.
  • Collaborate with the Fire Prevention team on specific projects, including drawing up technical reports and conducting field inspections.
  • Provide project review and codes consultancy services.
  • Advise on fire safety science and promote best practices.
  • Apply risk analysis models to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction, Chemical, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Nuclear, Environmental engineering).
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken, is essential. Excellent knowledge of English is desired.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AUTOCAD.
  • Registration on the lists of the Ministry of the Interior pursuant to law 818/84 is a preferential skill.
  • Passion for scientific subjects.
  • Proactivity, operational autonomy, empathy, and a positive attitude with customers.
