Job Title: Site Superintendent

Job Summary:

Prysmian Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to join our team. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party contractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Supervise and manage the activities of subcontractors, ensuring that they are working in accordance with the project plan and contract requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that all work is being carried out safely and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, safety records, and quality control documentation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, ensuring that all personnel are aware of and comply with safety protocols.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to site personnel, ensuring that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all site personnel are aware of and comply with company policies and procedures, including those related to quality, safety, and environmental management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a construction site management role, preferably with a cable installation company.
  • Strong knowledge of technical aspects related to cable installation, including design, installation, and testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide site personnel to achieve project goals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Ability to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally.
