AUDIT ASSOCIATE ​

In this role, associates collaborate with a diverse range of companies across various sectors. They cultivate robust working relationships with clients by gaining insight into their operations and challenges. Associates engage in multiple team assignments each year, contributing to various aspects of each project rather than focusing on a single element. The collaborative and respectful team environment at RSM encourages associates to perform at their best while harmonizing their professional and personal lives.

Key Responsibilities: ​

Grasping clients' requirements and expectations, their industry and business, accounting practices, employee dynamics, corporate values, and relevant GAAP and GAAS standards​ Gaining familiarity with the RSM audit methodology and tools​ Identifying risks and assessing the client's internal control framework​ Conducting substantive tests and internal control evaluations to detect and address accounting or reporting discrepancies​ Preparing financial statements in accordance with established formats

Basic Qualifications: ​

A minimum of a B.A / B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited institution upon commencement of employment​ Major in Accounting​​ Required travel to client sites; must have reliable transportation options​ Willingness to travel up to 25%​ A preferred minimum GPA of 3.0

Preferred Qualifications: ​

Strong written and verbal communication abilities​ Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office​ Effective team collaboration skills​ Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment​ Client-oriented mindset​ Capable of managing multiple tasks​

Individuals selected for this position may be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
