Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Technology Advisor to play a crucial role in our innovative Go-To-Market team. As a recognized expert in your domain, you will lead the transformation of technology solutions for our esteemed clients. Collaborating closely with our Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer stakeholders, you will utilize your technical and solution-oriented expertise to identify opportunities and surpass client expectations.

In this capacity, you will not merely act as an advisor; you will become a trusted partner and visionary, delivering distinctive and valuable insights to our clients. Through engaging demonstrations and impactful presentations, you will highlight our credibility and leadership in the industry, making a memorable impact on potential clients.

As an essential part of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architectural initiatives across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery, working in tandem with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. Your extensive technical knowledge and expertise in your specific domain will enable you to harness Kyndryl's comprehensive capabilities to create profitable solutions that drive our success.

As a Customer Technology Advisor, you will possess strong technical and business insight, allowing you to deliver value-driven solutions within the practice services domain(s). Additionally, you will take charge of coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance while adhering to Kyndryl's best practices. Required Skills and Experience:

• Profound domain knowledge of service offerings and technical solutions within a practice
• Proven experience in translating specialized technical knowledge into actionable insights and solutions for clients
• Prior experience in consultative selling
• Recognized externally as an expert in technology and/or solutioning areas, including relevant technical certifications supporting subdomain focus areas such as Application Data & AI and Cloud

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling technical services across multiple industries
• Experience in designing and delivering large-scale data platform solutions using relevant methodologies (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc.) that fully address client needs
• Ability to analyze and create data solutions in the Public Cloud Hyperscaler environment
• In-depth understanding of Cloud architectures and components such as Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Fabric, Mongo DB, CosmosDB, SQL DWH/Synapse/SQL Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
• Capability to identify and design architectural solutions focusing on performance, security, and reliability
• Familiarity with platforms and cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (EMR, S3, Redshift, Glue, MSK, Lambda), Cloudera Data Platform (Data Hub, Data Flow, SDX, Data Catalog)
• Database expertise: NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase), Relational (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), Data Warehousing (Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Proficient in deploying Infrastructure as Code
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of programming languages: Scala, Python, PySpark, Java, SQL, as well as familiarity with versioning tools: Git, CodeCommit
• Preferred qualifications include knowledge of Big Data frameworks and tools: Apache Hadoop (HDFS, MapReduce, YARN), Kafka, Flink, Hive, Iceberg, HBase, etc.
