Position Overview

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Manager in executing Event and Public Relations initiatives for the Milano Fashion & Milano Design School.

As the Events and Public Relations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in facilitating on-site activities, orchestrating promotional and institutional gatherings, implementing the PR strategy of Istituto Marangoni, and enhancing brand recognition under the guidance of the Manager.

Core Responsibilities

The Events and Public Relations Coordinator will aid the Manager in planning events, securing venues, and nurturing relationships with clients and vendors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and executing both internal and external school events through all stages;
  • Assisting the Manager in crafting event designs, including selecting appropriate venues, managing logistics, coordinating catering, and producing event materials and invitations;
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication strategy related to events and generating reports;
  • Supporting the Manager in bringing event concepts to fruition;
  • Maintaining and updating the contacts database;
  • Overseeing and evaluating the success of events;
  • Collaborating with the procurement office;
  • Coordinating external relationship networks;
  • Monitoring and assessing PR outcomes, including investment analysis;
  • Creating and executing PR initiatives;
  • Utilizing existing media relationships and fostering new connections within both online and offline media;
  • Working collaboratively with the Social Media team.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in events and/or public relations;
  • Proficiency in English;
  • Proficiency in Office Suite;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities;
  • Proactive, highly organized, efficient, and detail-oriented;
  • Strong passion for the fashion and design sectors.
