Finance Business Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities:

This position encompasses a wide range of duties related to the formulation, execution, and oversight of the organization’s financial strategy. The primary emphasis will be on spearheading comprehensive data analysis to facilitate informed decision-making.

Core Functions:

  • Develop business cases to assess new market opportunities or evaluate existing partnerships.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and project updates to senior leadership, highlighting risks and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Strategy teams to refine modeling and validate business plan assumptions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in creating detailed project timelines, budget forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Maintain a centralized database of all financial planning documentation.
  • Design and implement processes and tools aimed at enhancing the efficiency of financial planning operations.
  • Identify and propose enhancements to the financial planning methodology.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of data and assumptions, critically evaluating alternative scenarios to uncover more profitable avenues.
  • Perform due diligence on external business plans and industrial strategies.
  • Participate in special projects and respond to ad hoc analytical requests.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Strong foundation in both business operations and financial management.
  • Over 7 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or strategic development.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; skilled in PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Proven experience in managing dynamic and challenging financial projects.
