Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Fluid Systems Engineer to support our engineering design activities, focusing on fluid process systems for nuclear applications. The successful candidate will design and size major process components, ensuring they meet national and international codes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure the execution of design activities with best engineering practices, including technical specifications, P&IDs, instruments, and components lists.
  • Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups and follow up on manufacturing, factory acceptance tests, on-site installation, and testing activities.
  • Technical evaluation of supplier offers and technical follow-up of supplies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nuclear, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Aerospace Engineering, or similar. A Ph.D. is considered an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience, with 3 years in research and development in scope-related fields.
  • Good knowledge of complex machines, mechanisms, and robotic applications in the industrial sector.
  • Basic skills for the production and assembly of mechanical components.
  • Experience in engineering aspects of robotics and mechatronics.
  • Good understanding of security aspects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing aspects.
  • Integration of on-board control, acquisition, and feeding systems.
  • Additional skills: experience in the application of nuclear codes, knowledge of 3D modeling systems, and knowledge of FEM analysis methods.
  • Spirit of initiative, curiosity, and passion for technology and innovation.
  • Good critical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent command of written and spoken English.
  • Available for frequent travels, even at short notice.
