Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QC LIMS Specialist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our QC LIMS & Digital team, you will play a vital role in the implementation of our new Global LIMS system (Sample Manager - gLIMS) and digital projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Map the sample workflow to ensure efficient processes and optimize system performance.
  • Lead the issuance of change control records, dedicated procedures, and work instructions when necessary.
  • Load data into the system and ensure accurate data management.
  • Train users on the LIMS system and provide ongoing support.
  • Continuously improve the system to enhance its performance and functionality.
  • Digitize methods and other important documents to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Manage static data related to materials, specifications, lot plans, and operations.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes and deviations and implement action plans accordingly.
  • Conduct system audit trail checks during batch release to ensure compliance.
  • Provide SME support to users and ensure seamless system integration.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biomedical field.
  • Previous experience working with a LIMS system in a GMP & Compliance environment.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Basic IT knowledge of SQL, PMX, MES, SAP databases.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and effective communication.
