About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineer - Logistics and Flows Specialist is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and reviewing procedures and equipment involved in the production and logistic process. Key duties include researching production and logistics techniques, testing new systems for lead time and productivity, and analyzing manufacturing costs and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Analyze process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation, flows) and identify opportunities to improve
- Review production flows, balancing, and logistics to improve production performance and match future requirements
- Analyze and design logistic flows, layout, warehouse, kit, and picking area, and analyze and improve container and carrier
- Problem-solving activities and solution identification and implementation on topics related to safety and quality improvement, cost, and lead time reduction
- Manage economics and elaborate business cases
- Process standardization and optimization
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in complex environments as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer
- Strong relationship skills
- Capable of working under pressure and timely delivering tasks
- Good knowledge of Ms Office
- Flexible and able to adapt in a constantly changing environment
- Oriented to digitalization and information technologies
