Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer - Logistics and Flows Optimization is responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and reviewing procedures and equipment involved in the production and logistic process. This role involves researching production and logistics techniques, testing new systems for lead time and productivity, and analyzing manufacturing costs and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze process measurement (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation, flows) and identify opportunities to improve
- Review production flows, balancing, and logistics to improve production performance and match future requirements in terms of new product introduction and production plans fulfillment
- Analyze and design logistic flows, layout, warehouse, kit, and picking area. Analysis and improvement of container and carrier
- Problem-solving activities and solution identification and implementation related to safety and quality improvement, cost, and lead time reduction
- Managing economics and elaborating business cases
- Process standardization and optimization
- A Degree in Engineering
- At least 1 year of experience in complex environments as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Continuous Improvement Engineer
- Strong relationship skills
- Capability to work under pressure and deliver tasks timely
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Flexibility to adapt in a context of constant change
- Orientation to digitalization and information technologies
