IMAGINE YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The Production Process Engineer plays a pivotal role in the design, execution, and evaluation of the methodologies and machinery utilized in the manufacturing workflow. Your responsibilities encompass researching production and logistics strategies, assessing new systems for operational efficiency, and strategizing factory layouts to maximize productivity. You will collaborate closely with the Production, Quality, and Planning Departments to facilitate improvement initiatives and achieve desired outcomes.
The Production Process Engineer leverages expertise in scientific and mathematical principles to scrutinize manufacturing expenses and key performance indicators, seeking avenues for enhancement and developing business case analyses.
You will also foster relationships with various Regions and Departments, engaging in benchmarking activities.
Here are some key responsibilities you will undertake:
• Evaluate process metrics (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation, flows) and pinpoint areas for enhancement
• Examine process variables, conduct chemical and physical assessments on production stages to determine product traits and performance
• Oversee Design of Experiments (DOE) and testing protocols to refine process parameter settings
• Engage in problem-solving tasks and devise solutions related to safety and quality enhancements, as well as cost and lead time reductions
• Manage financial aspects and develop business case analyses
• Standardize and optimize processes
PROFILE OF AN IDEAL CANDIDATE
A Degree in Engineering is required A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred Strong teamwork orientation is essential Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial A focus on digitalization and information technologies is advantageous Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is necessaryAre you prepared to take on this opportunity?
