YOUR FUTURE ROLE
The Production Process Engineer is tasked with the analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation of the procedures and equipment integral to production and logistics operations.
Responsibilities encompass researching production methodologies and logistics strategies, as well as testing new systems aimed at optimizing lead times and productivity.
Utilize your expertise in science and mathematics to assess manufacturing costs and key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for enhancement and developing comprehensive business case studies.
You will also cultivate relationships with various regions and departments, engaging in benchmarking activities.
Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluating process metrics (OEE, capabilities, cycle time, balancing, desaturation, flows) to pinpoint improvement opportunities
• Assessing production flows, balancing, and logistics to enhance production efficiency and align with future requirements regarding new product introductions and production schedules
• Designing and analyzing logistics flows, layouts, warehouses, and picking areas, alongside the analysis and enhancement of containers and carriers.
• Engaging in problem-solving initiatives and identifying solutions related to safety and quality improvements, as well as cost and lead time reductions
• Managing economic considerations and developing business cases
• Standardizing and optimizing processes
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
A Degree in Engineering is required A minimum of 1 year of experience in complex environments as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Continuous Improvement Engineer is preferred Strong interpersonal skills are essential Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected Flexibility and adaptability in a constantly changing environment are necessary A focus on digitalization and information technologies is advantageousAre you prepared to take on this challenge?
