Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Carbon Management Specialist to contribute to our Sustainability division. This team is dedicated to addressing pressing Environmental, Health, and Safety challenges while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Our experts deliver a unique combination of technical, scientific, and regulatory knowledge in environmental science, energy, and health and safety. With robust technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of the social, economic, and legal dimensions of environmental issues, we are well-equipped to develop and communicate innovative solutions. Our support extends across various areas, including environmental assessments, remediation of contaminated sites, impact evaluations, compliance oversight, performance enhancement, risk mitigation, sustainability strategies, and ESG evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting GHG accounting and reporting, including the quantification of Scope 3 GHG emissions for complex organizations.
  • Executing Life Cycle Assessment and Product Carbon Footprint initiatives.
  • Leading energy and climate transition projects, with a solid understanding of national and international decarbonization policies and scenarios, including SBTi.
  • Engaging in ESG advisory projects, such as strategy development, materiality assessments, management system integration, and CSRD reporting.
  • Coordinating project teams and tasks related to the aforementioned areas.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience (2-4 years) in consultancy or within the manufacturing/energy sector.
  • Relevant Master's Degree in environmental or energy engineering or a related field.
  • Additional postgraduate studies in sustainability and climate-energy transition are advantageous.
  • Proficient communication skills in both Italian and English, with a third language being a plus.
