Job Title: Project Procurement Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Procurement Manager to join our team at Saipem. As a key member of our Project Supply Chain Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful procurement of goods and services for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the interfacing between Project and Procurement functions
  • Coordinate purchases and subcontracted activities, including the management of a dedicated Project Procurement task force
  • Ensure that project procurement activities respect project requirements and constraints
  • Identify and suggest required corrective actions to ensure full compliance with procurement procedures
  • Analyze contractual conditions and client requirements, and participate in project planning and scheduling activities
  • Define and issue Project Procurement Procedures in line with Corporate procedures and contractual obligations
  • Plan and elaborate a detailed Procurement Log in coordination with other project functions
  • Consolidate the Vendors/Subcontractors Project Vendor List and Bidder Lists
  • Define and monitor the implementation of the Project Procurement strategy
  • Identify and plan the use of pre-agreements, project agreements, and Master Agreements
  • Coordinate purchasing/subcontracting activities from local and regional vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with administrative, insurance, and legislative requirements
  • Ensure proper reporting of procurement activities towards the Project organization and the Procurement Function
  • Ensure that pertinent HSE clauses/requirements are included in procurement documents

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of English language (B2/C1 level)
  • Permanent contract
  • 5-10 years of experience
  • Microsoft Office (EXCEL and WORD: ADVANCED LEVEL) skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus
  • Teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Previous experience in Oil/Gas Projects
  • Knowledge of a third language
