About the Role Grade Level (for internal use): 05The Team Our Milan‑based administrative team is the backbone of our operations, supporting around 20 professionals across various functions. Your work directly enables our teams to focus on their core responsibilities while you handle the critical administrative functions that support the business. You will contribute to team initiatives that improve our operational efficiency and ensure that clients and visitors receive exceptional service.What You Stand to GainOpportunity to develop broad administrative expertise across multiple business functionsExposure to various departments and senior stakeholders, expanding your professional networkExperience in a fast‑paced international business environmentSkills development in modern office technologies and systemsCareer growth opportunities within a global organizationThe satisfaction of being a key contributor to team success and operational excellenceResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive administrative support to teams of 20 professionals, including travel and expense managementPrepare documents for committees and manage document platforms with accuracy and attention to detailComplete and submit travel and personal expenses within deadlines, following up on all queriesManage team calendars and update databases, including Salesforce, with new contactsSupport IT requests for swift resolution and track team office presenceEnsure filing and archiving is kept up to date following established organizational standardsSupport the reception desk on rotation, handling incoming calls and routing them appropriatelySet up conference calls and video conferences, providing technical support for AV issuesWelcome visitors, suppliers and clients, providing comprehensive support including bookings and access managementSupport events and seminars with logistics coordinationWork with the Office Manager as the operational contact for facility management and office suppliesProvide backup support to other Administrative Assistants and handle ad‑hoc requests with flexibilityAll employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per weekWe require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in‑person interview at the nearest S&P Global Ratings office before an offer can be madeBasic Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative certification preferred2‑3 years of administrative or office support experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ItalianExperience with database management and CRM systems (Salesforce experience preferred)Additional Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting senior‑level executives or teamsKnowledge of travel booking systems and expense management processesFamiliarity with conference call and video conferencing technologiesPrevious reception or front‑office experience in a professional environmentEqual Opportunity Employer S&P Global is an equal‑opportunity employer and all qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, marital status, military veteran status, unemployment status or any other status protected by law.
