Guests enjoy a harmonious blend of tradition, artistry, and world‑class gastronomy.As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking anEecutive Chefto join our culinary Team.Role DescriptionAsExecutive Chef, you will be the creative and operational leader of the hotel’s culinary vision, responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences across all restaurants, bars, and banqueting operations. You will oversee all kitchen activities, manage and inspire a talented culinary team, and ensure the highest standards of quality, presentation, and consistency in every dish served at San Clemente Palace Venice.Your main responsibilities will include:Leading and inspiring the culinary team across multiple outlets and banqueting venuesDeveloping innovative menus that reflect Italian traditions with contemporary flairEnsuring the consistent delivery of exceptional quality, taste, and presentationOverseeing kitchen operations including hygiene, cost control, and inventory managementCollaborating closely with the Food & Beverage and Events teams to create memorable dining and event experiencesMonitoring food costs, labor productivity, and operational efficiency in line with budget targetsRecruiting, training, and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering creativity and growthBuilding strong relationships with local suppliers to source premium seasonal ingredientsChampioning sustainability, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing initiativesAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotelWhat We’re Looking ForExtensive experience as an Executive Chef or senior Sous Chef within luxury hotels or fine dining restaurantsStrong leadership and management skills with a hands‑on, team‑oriented approachDeep understanding of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine, with a modern and creative edgeProven track record in menu development, cost management, and quality assuranceExcellent organizational and communication skillsAbility to thrive under pressure while maintaining composure and attention to detailFluent in Italian and English (additional languages are an advantage)Passion for excellence, innovation, and authentic guest experiencesAdditional InformationLocation: Venice, Italy –Based on San Clemente Island, Venice (daily boat transfers required)Type of work: Full timeFlexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak periodsYou must possess the legal right to work in ItalyWhat We OfferA prestigious leadership position in one of Europe’s most iconic luxury resortsOpportunity to shape the culinary identity of a historic Venetian propertyAccommodation, meals, uniform, and on‑property benefitsA collaborative, multicultural, and inspiring work environmentProfessional growth and development opportunities within the luxury hospitality sectorApply NowReady to lead the culinary team of San Clemente Palace Venice?
