Cloud Sales Specialist, Major Accounts

**Your Team**:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a territory and driving the sales for our CloudGuard security solutions, into new and existing customers. It is expected that you deliver or exceed your sales targets in both new business and renewals for ACV and TCV bookings. The role expects you to define your territory, strategies and then lead local execution and in alignment to company strategies and tactics with its Cloud Provider partnerships including, but not limited to, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Accenture and IBM.

**Your Impact & Responsibilities**:
- Developing and executing sales plans for your assigned territory.
- Managing the entire sales cycle for key deals.
- Fostering growth & tracking sales pipeline by engaging with internal account teams, existing customers, net new prospects, and key partners.
- Maintaining an accurate overlaying forecast of business opportunities and bookings in your assigned territory.
- Understanding and navigating customer procurement preferences, embracing the online marketplaces (AWS, Azure, Distis), chaperoning customers to long-term commitments, and identifying, escalating, and resolving potential roadblocks.
- Preparing and giving regular business reviews to the management team highlighting attainment progress and challenges to closing business.
- Presenting to customers as a sales expert in Cloud & various code Environments (Github, Gitlab, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and other Cloud providers).
- Being able to present compelling business cases at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from architects to CXOs. You will be expected to have a good understanding of the overall ecosystem as well as the competitive landscape in your assigned territory.
- Collaborating with the Channel organization to enable our Partners to successfully sell and deploy Check Point Cloud solutions.
- Ensuring an active presence at relevant industry Trade Shows and Check Point organized events.
- Delivering regular Webinars and Event keynote business presentations.
- Developing and leveraging executive relationships to succeed.
**Your Knowledge & Skills**:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales.
- An understanding of working in a matrix business, selling directly, through and with the overall assigned account manager.
- Sales excellence; ability to demonstrate planning, strategy, qualification and execution.
- Deep understanding of Public Cloud and the uniqueness of public cloud architectures.
- Prior experience selling SAAS or Cloud solutions.
- Existing relationships within one or all Public Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, Google) is preferred.
- A strong understanding of DevOps, containers/kubernetes, CI/CD and the cloud native technology ecosystem.
- Excellent communication skills including strong verbal and written skills and proven presentation skills being able to articulate complex topics.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
