**About SAYURI**

**The Role**

We are seeking a General Manager based in Florence, Italy to lead and grow our Italian & Europe operations. You will be our on-the-ground presence in Italy, driving sales growth, managing client relationships, overseeing local operations, and serving as the primary point of contact for all Italy-related activities.

This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-growing, purpose-driven environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Sales & Business Development** - Drive revenue growth across Italy through new client acquisition and relationship management with existing partners
- **Client Relations** - Serve as a primary point of contact for Italian clients, cafés, retailers, and wholesale partners
- **Operations Management** - Oversee inventory, logistics, order fulfilment, and coordination with suppliers and distribution partners
- **Market Strategy** - Develop and execute local marketing initiatives and identify opportunities for market expansion in Italy
- **Communications** - Manage all multi-language communications with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- **Cross-functional Coordination** - Work closely with UK-based team on product development, supply chain, and brand initiatives

**About You**
- **Bilingual in Italian and English (mandatory). Ability to speak Japanese a bonus.**:

- Based in Florence, Italy with flexibility to travel if needed
- Proven track record in general management, sales, operations, or business development (ideally in FMCG, food & beverage, hospitality, or wellness industries)
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage client relationships
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently in a remote structure
- Passion for wellness, sustainability, or Japanese culture is a strong plus
