To foster our continuous growth, we are strengthening our organization looking at smart professionals willing to join the team as contributors to company mission and goals. **Posizione:**:We are currently seeking an Internship for a **Innovation Management** project to join our **Lean Management Dept.** at **CAREL HQs** in Brugine (Padova). **Innovation management: business models exploration** The project aims to develop a method of Customer Development for innovation management, always a key topic for Carel, to deal with uncertain and continuous changing context characterizing today’s markets. Within this initiative, we are considering the fundamental contribution and support that the academic world can give us to explore the topic. We started by studying existing innovation management approaches applied mainly to start-ups (such as Customer Development, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile and Design Sprint) and we want to integrate the main values with Lean analysis tools and methods already existing in the company. With this project we want to build a method to manage innovative business ideas arising within the company and evaluate them. The approach is customer driven, that means every business idea must be built by leaving the company context ("get out of the building") to understand the value for the customer. Every business idea is build on hypotheses that must be verified directly with the customer through a scientific validation process to find out as soon as possible if it is a failure. After catching the benefits that customer is looking for, you can ideate the suitable solution and analyze if it is possible to develop it with existing resources and if there is a market ready to pay for it. At the end of the process you can be sure that the business model that will be developed is correct and have a low risk of failure. In particular during the project and with your support: - Innovation approaches (Customer Development, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile and Design Sprint) will be explored; - The “method” of Customer Development will be developed and implemented for specific business challenges existing in the company even in international contexts and interacting with people from different departments. **Requisiti**: - MUST: 6 months internship availability - MUST: Bachelor degree in Business Management, or Economics, or Engineering - Basic knowledge and interest in the field of Innovation Management and above all Customer Development, Lean, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Agile and Design Sprint with these recommended reading: - Ostenwalder: Business Model Generation and Value Proposition Design - Ash Maurya: Running Lean - Knapp: Design Sprint - MUST: Fluent English - Team working skills - Analytical problem solving skills - Predisposition to learn, to leave the comfort zone and to face the possibility of failure - Proactive innovator approach - Creativity and optimism **Altre informazioni: **Join our Team
