What to Expect
- The Construction Project Management Lead will be responsible to manage a regionally based team whose focus is to deliver construction services for new Tesla showrooms, service centers, bodyshops & delivery hubs. The Construction Management Lead will also be a working manager responsible to manage and deliver individual projects with a focus on construction management. You will manage the workloads of the team to ensure coverage of all services for new and existing Tesla projects. The Construction Lead will report to the Regional Manager for the Southern Region.

What You’ll Do
- Managing workload of the Construction team for the Southern Region
- Ensuring the alignment with Real Estate forecast of new store openings and operational objectives and goals.
- Will also be required to review and approve all CAPEX budgets before being presented to the Senior Management for Approval to Proceed.
- Responsible to review all Change Order Requests and Additions for CAPEX.
- Cost and budget management as well as approving additional spends when needed.
- Will be expected to engage and align with the Regional SSD Managers to mitigate all escalations, communicate regional needs, and ensure alignment.
- Internal and external stakeholder management in the region
- Escalation matters when needed while ensuring projects are managed with a focus on construction management.

What You’ll Bring
- Educational background in Architectural Design or Construction Engineering, alternatively relevant work experience
- Knowledge and experience working with local building code, ADA, zoning, and other applicable laws
- Understanding of project scheduling and the ability to communicate and work closely with consultants to ensure that project milestones are being met on time and complete.
- Proficient in REVIT and BIM 360
- Strong understanding of Construction Technical Engineering and its implementation processes
- High level of comprehension and rational resolution
- Willingness to travel
- English language skills preferable
