- The product we provide within our Italian market has been successfully delivering therapies to critically ill patients for more than 30 years and we have played a pioneering role in advancing the science of immunotherapy delivered through Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP). We continue to invest in the highest standards of medical education, while seeking to refine our technologies, and remaining dedicated to furthering advances in ECP Immunomodulation.

- We are currently recruiting for a permanent full-time role as Territory Manager for Northen Italy.
- Essential Functions
The purpose of the role
Open new and manage existing accounts to deliver sales in line with agreed targets Identify and develop Extracorporeal Photopheresis (ECP) patient referral pathways through clinical and non-clinical stakeholder management Identify new disease and business opportunities within territory.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver sales growth in line with company goals, by managing given current accounts and acquiring new ones
- Monitoring public hospitals’ tenders and managing bid-tenders processes to deliver sales growth
- Project management responsibility for key accounts
- Develop, optimize and benchmark patient referral pathways for key accounts
- Develop network to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Actively drive and ensure national and regional reimbursement for ECP through development of local commissioning knowledge and collaboration with Market Access and Health Economics and Reimbursement teams.
- Deliver the full value of the product and therapy through collaboration with Research, Field Technical Support, Clinical and Scientific Development, and other departments to meet company goals
- Effectively leverage the expanding EMEA Professional Education offering, as well as developing local KOL led events.
- Attend professional meetings (i.e. congresses, symposia) to build networks of contacts on behalf of the company
- Minimum Requirements
Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required preferably in biology/biotechnology/business or marketing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial function in healthcare and/or medical device sector
- Excellent understanding of the Italian public hospitals tender process
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to work virtually and collaborate in a matrix organization
- Strong presentation, project management and negotiation skills
- Enthusiastic, dedicated, committed and autonomous approach to work
- Excellent Italian and English communication skills, both written and spoken
- EU driver license
- EU work permit
- Organizational Relationship/Scope:
The Territory Manager Italy will report to the Regional Business Manager Southern Europe and has no direct reports. The role will work closely with cross-functional teams incl. Market Access, Medical Affairs, Clinical Service, Technical Service, Prof. Education and HEOR.
- Working Conditions:
The role is field/home based in Italy, preferably in Milan.
Willingness to travel significantly within the given territory and occasionally globally (up to 80%).
