The Energy Storage Product Line Leader is a central role in the Clean Power Solutions team that focuses on the development of the most advanced technologies to serve energy and industrial companies looking for more efficient, more reliable, low to no carbon solutions.
The Energy Storage Product Line Leader is accountable for the long term profitable growth of Baker Hughes energy storage portfolio setting the strategic priorities, leading the capital allocation process, defining and executing NPDs (New Product Development) and solutions offerings, their commercialization plan from launch through the end-of-life

As an Energy Storage Product Line Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Leading profitable growth of Energy Storage portfolio offering (mainly BESS and Long Duration Energy Storage), stigmatizing markets, customer, and policy understanding, gameboard/focus areas, strategy roadmap
- Leading capital allocation process defining business cases supported by Strategic Marketing, Pricing, Sourcing and Engineering organizations
- Supporting the engineering team in the portfolio development execution on budget on time, set targets for cost, performance, technology features, industrialization and aftermarket deliverables, to guarantee successful market
- Establishing relationships with relevant EPCs and key third parties, liaising with regions, commercial and business units; engage across functions, team and business & support new business incubation, M&A/BD due diligence
- Accelerating and executing commercialization plan, including launch planning and Beta customers engagement, driving actions to increase opportunity pipeline: market prospecting and lead generation, value chain stakeholders engagement, portfolio and new offering pre-positioning
- Driving sales engagement, roll out sales training, sales pitch and ‘soft’ tools, advocacy and conferences
- Work goals typically span 1-2 years to complete and the impact is felt over the 12 month - 2 years time horizon

To be successful in this role you will:

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have a wealth of experience in Strategy and Growth Initiatives, Product Leadership, Engineering in the Energy Storage or Power gen industry
- Possess a deep understanding of Energy Storage Market dynamics and its evolution, show experience in understanding customer dynamics and decision process in the power sector, system, and solution approach vs equipment provider
- Show good analytical skills and proven capabilities to develop Business Cases - preferred MBA from accredited school.
- Have good verbal and written skills. Be fluent in English.
- Be able to demonstrate very strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrate the ability to lead programs / projects in a structured manner.
- Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
