**Position Summary**:

As a Global Tech Expert in Authentication & Directory Services, you’ll collaborate with leading professionals dedicated to securing and enhancing our global connectivity and authentication infrastructure. This role is pivotal in optimizing and securing our Authentication & Directory Services products, ensuring a seamless and secure connectivity experience for users worldwide. Shape the future of our network protection strategies and exceed industry standards with your expertise.

**A Day in the Life of a Tech Expert Authentication & Directory Services**:

- Design scalable, resilient, and secure directory services architectures that meet current and future business needs. Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and solutions to enhance directory services infrastructure.
- Consult, guide, and provide expert technical support for the use and evolution of our authentication and directory services products that support cloud solutions like AWS, Azure, Microsoft 365. This includes support of both our on-premises Active Directory and MS Entra ID authentication services.
- Utilize automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell) to streamline directory services management. Develop and maintain scripts for automated tasks and system maintenance. Continually seek opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation
- Design the governance, assurance, and standards required to ensure our enterprise technology architecture is secure and compliant.
- Manage suppliers, defining significant functional, technical and process integration decisions.

**What will make you successful?**
- Deep understanding of AD, AAD, and Entra technology. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation tools. Familiarity with identity and and access management, network protocols, and related technologies.
- Certified and deep expertise working with large enterprise solution services including Active Directory (AD), Azure AD, Azure AD managed authentication, and DNS to support any cloud solution, in particular those from SAP, Meta etc.
- Strong understanding of Agile/DevOps methods and processes with proven ability to participate in Agile project teams, providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impacts, and risks.
- Experience in engaging with key technology partners (vendors, Account Managers, Product Managers, lab advocates and executives).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- An open-minded person capable of adapting, being flexible, and dynamic while keeping a client centric approach.
