**Business Development Manager - OEM**

Carrier Global Controls, consisting of the brands Fireye, Fenwal Controls and UTEC, designs and manufactures industry-leading agency approved critical control products for the HVAC, refrigeration, process and related markets globally. Carrier is seeking an **OEM Business Development Manager** to develop our OEM business for the **European region**.

**Responsibilities**
- Increase the volume of OEM customers served in the region;
- Research and identify new business opportunities with OEMs in the HVAC, boiler/burner, refrigeration, commercial cooking, commercial laundry, RV and associated industries;
- Carry out market analysis and present findings to senior management;
- Foster and develop relationships with key contacts within these organisations;
- Understand the needs of the market and work cross functionally to develop sales and marketing strategy;
- Work closely with the regional sales leads to secure new business and increase sales in the region;
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business;
- Understand regional and global industry and economic trends;
- Be a knowledgeable resource for our clients;
- Work closely with the regional sales leads to secure new business;
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate.

**Experience/Qualifications**
- Fluent in Italian and English;
- 10+ years of related work experience, with at least 5+ years prior experience in sales / business development in the HVAC industry;
- Strong technical background, degree qualified preferred;
- Track record of significant business growth;
- Constructive, energetic, and proactive and bring a positive attitude to all that you do;
- Strong presenter - both at the customer and executive level;
- Analytical and strategic minded;
- Able to prioritise workload effectively.
