Our Client is a leading international Company providing innovative and flexible leasing solutions. Operating in over 40 countries, the Company specializes in knowledge of product sectors and assets, particularly in the markets of transportation, industrial equipment, and technology. To strengthen their internal structure, they have entrusted us with the search for a:
**HEAD OF LEGAL DEPARTMENT**

**Posizione**:
**Main responsibility**:

- Ensures the legal security and participates in the prevention of legal operational risks (implementation of new regulations, legal validation of new products and set up).
- Acts as Legal Counsel for the activities of the Company and ensures that an appropriate legal support is provided (internal or external).
- In liaison with the management of the Company, represents and defends the Group’s interests before the professional organizations and vis-à-vis authorities.
- Defines a mapping of legal risks of the Company and an action plan to control these risks as well as to identify the training needs deriving from it.
- Defines and implements internal services agreements and procedures (Service Legal Agreements or contractual policies), especially with the commercial department.
- Handles every pre-litigation and litigation files (except recovery) entered on behalf of or in defence of the Company.
- Defines with the management annual objectives and prioritiesandmanages the staff in liaison with Human Resources Managers.

**Requirements**:

- Solid experience as Head of Legal department, in banking or financial sector.
- Ability to propose practical and innovative solutions, ensuring legal certainty necessary for the Company’s operations.
- Management, organization (team and projects), cooperation and communication skills.
- Proficient in English (both oral and written).
