Your Role

As a
Key Account Manager
based in Milan, you will play a central role in managing and developing a portfolio of strategic Italian clients, while contributing to HiPay's overall growth in Southern Europe.

You will act as the main point of contact for your accounts, building long-term partnerships and ensuring that our payment solutions effectively support their business goals — from conversion optimization to international expansion.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow
    a portfolio of key Italian clients, ensuring their satisfaction, loyalty, and commercial success.
  • Develop tailored account strategies
    to drive business growth, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and maximize value creation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships
    with decision-makers (C-level, e-commerce directors, finance managers, etc.).
  • Conduct regular business reviews
    and performance analyses to ensure continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams
    (technical, product, compliance, data, support) to deliver seamless and effective solutions.
  • Provide strategic and functional advice
    on HiPay's payment solutions, highlighting product benefits and innovative features.
  • Act as the voice of the customer
    , identifying evolving needs and contributing to the improvement of our offers and services.
  • Ensure accurate reporting
    of activities, forecasts, and results to management.

Your Profile

  • Minimum
    4 years of experience
    in key account management or business development, ideally within
    payments, e-commerce, or technology sectors
    .
  • Strong ability to
    manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders
    .
  • Excellent
    communication and interpersonal skills
    , with a consultative, customer-focused mindset.
  • Analytical and results-driven, comfortable with data and performance metrics.
  • Autonomous, organized, and adaptable — thriving in a
    fast-paced, changing environment
    .
  • Fluent in
    Italian and English
    (French is a plus).

Recruitment Process

  1. Introductory call
    (~15 min) with the People and Office Manager Italy
  2. Interview
    with the General Manager Italy to confirm strategic alignment and cultural fit (~1h, in-person).
  3. HR interview
    with the Talent Manager (~1h, video)
  4. Interview
    with the Head of Customer Success to assess technical and functional skills (~1h, video).
