We are currently recruiting for a leading global Sportswear company, looking for a
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (full remote)
to drive growth across key accounts in
EUROPE.

This is a strategic commercial role ideal for a sales professional with a strong understanding of the retail landscape and a passion for delivering operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with major sporting goods and fashion retail accounts (e.g., Intersport, Snipes, Footlocker, JD Sports, XXL) across Northern and Eastern Europe.
  • Lead sell-in of seasonal collections and collaborate with buyers on assortments and bestsellers.
  • Onboard new key accounts and ensure access to internal systems and tools.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with logistics, IT, and customer service teams to guarantee smooth operations.
  • Support order placement processes, including EDI onboarding and ongoing maintenance.
  • Track and report on sales performance, account developments, and market insights.
  • Assist in the implementation of marketing and in-store initiatives in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact for operational inquiries from key account partners.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong network and relationships with major sporting goods and fashion retail accounts
    (e.g., Intersport, Snipes, Footlocker, JD Sports, XXL)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years' experience in Key Account Management or Sales Operations, ideally in the sporting goods, fashion, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong understanding of the retail landscape in Germany, the Nordics, East Europe, and the UK is highly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage complex client relationships and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Proficient in ERP and EDI systems; strong attention to detail and a solutions-oriented mindset.
