My client, a global power manufacturer, is looking or a Business Development Manager to grow the channel team to manage and grow a €20M+ European business within the channel organisation, driving sales of high-performance, market-leading power technologies through close collaboration with an established distribution partner network.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify growth opportunities through distribution partners and key channel accounts
  • Build strong knowledge of channel markets, partner capabilities, and customer buying ecosystems
  • Define and execute partner-led growth strategies aligned with portfolio and business objectives
  • Enable distributors through sales and technical presentations to effectively position value propositions
  • Collaborate with partners, customers, and field application engineers to deliver tailored solutions from pre- to post-sales
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with distribution partners and strategic customers
  • Track market trends, partner performance, and emerging technologies to drive effective demand creation

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
  • Experience in account management or technical sales, including channel partners
  • Technical background in power electronics / power conversion preferred
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven with a proven sales track record
  • Fluent English; additional European languages a plus
  • Willing to travel extensively across Europe (up to 50%)
  • Full driving licence

This position requires the ability to translate complex customer requirements into scalable, channel-driven solutions, working closely with distribution partners to position differentiated technologies and execute disciplined opportunity management across the full sales lifecycle.
