Description Agilent encourages and supports discoveries that advance the quality of life.We provide life science, diagnostic, and applied market laboratories worldwide with instruments, services, consumables, applications, and expertise.Agilent enables customers to gain the answers and insights they seek -- so they can do what they do best: improve the world around us.Want more information on Agilent?Check out Are you ready to take your sales career to the next level?If so, you might be the person that we are looking for to join our Service Sales team in Central ItalyWe are currently looking for a Service Sales Account Manager - preferably based in Lazio Region - to join our team, part of the Agilent CrossLab Group.In this role, you will be selling service contracts to assigned accounts in Central-Italy, mainly in Lazio, Abruzzo and Umbria regions, managing a Sales Territory with full accountability.You will be responsible for maintaining and developing existing contracts and generating new business to reach your financial targets (monthly, quarterly and yearly).This role requires an in-depth understanding of customer needs to promote solutions that make a difference and deliver results.This is an exciting role in an international team, where you will: Manage installed base inventory and service contracts to ensure optimal service levels and seamless contract setup Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive growth by designing tailored service solutions that meet customer needs Provide accurate business forecasts for your territory and take full ownership of delivering results Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging the full portfolio of services to maximize customer value Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships while actively developing new connections to expand market presence The broad portfolio of services and the help from support teams will allow you to propose Asset Management, Lab-wide Enterprise Solutions, Multi-Vendor Services, Digital Lab Solutions, Relocations, Customer Education and Application Services in order to develop your business volume.In this key sales role , you will use your commercial expertise to sell solutions consultatively .You will collaborate closely with the local Field Service organization, the Instrument Sales Teams and the other members of the Service Sales team.Qualifications We are looking for a motivated individual with the following qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific field, or equivalent professional experience A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in laboratory product sales, ideally within Agilent's markets Strong negotiation skills across all organizational levels, including occasional engagement with C-suite executives Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical, Biopharma and Chemical Analysis industry would be a valued asset Perfect networking abilities to integrate customer priorities and influence key internal and external partners Mother-tongue Italian, B2/C1 level in English is a must Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with leading CRM systems is an advantage Valid driving license What we offer: Company car A permanent position in an international and multifaceted workplace with exciting challenges and opportunities.You will become part of a company with very high ethics, values and business standards.Outstanding company culture Career development opportunities Company pension scheme, yearly company bonus, private health care, stock purchase plan, medical
