Delivery Practice Manager, WWPS ProServeJob ID: | Amazon Web Services, Inc.The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) to join our ProServe Shared Delivery Team (SDT) at Amazon Web Services (AWS).In this role, you will manage a team of ProServe Delivery Consultants while supporting AWS enterprise customers through transformative projects.You will leverage your IT and/or Management Consulting background to serve as a strategic advisor to customers, partners, and internal AWS teams.As a DPM you will build and manage a team of Delivery Consultants and/or Engagement Managers, engage with Director-level and C-level executives, capture opportunities, drive engagement delivery, and work closely with partner teams to generate business development initiatives, provide portfolio guidance, and exceed customer satisfaction targets.You will develop business outcomes for customers, build trust, identify applicable AWS Professional Services offerings, and create proposals and SOWs.You will optimize team performance through tailored people development plans, ensure alignment to customer needs, and cultivate strong relationships with customers, Amazon Global Sales (AGS), and ProServe teams.DPM success is measured by consistently delivering customer engagements on time, within budget, and exceeding expectations, while holding the practice total utilization goal and optimizing team performance.Eligibility: This position requires the candidate to currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.The candidate must also opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.Key job responsibilitiesBuild and manage a high-performing team of Delivery Consultants.Collaborate with Delivery Consultants, Engagement Managers, Account Executives, and Cloud Architects to deploy solutions and provide input on new features.Develop and oversee the implementation of innovative, forward-looking IT strategies for customers.Manage practice P&L, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery of customer customer-facing roles.3+ years of program or engagement management work leading other project managers to deliver a program with multiple and concurrent projects.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field.Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges.Experience in enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies & distributed architecture.Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of enterprise IT management frameworks like COBIT or ITIL.Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP).Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite level customer engagement.Experience with highest geographic market.Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.Amazon is a total compensation
