MissionAt IBA (Ion Beam Applications), we develop cutting-edge technologies that improve cancer diagnosis and treatment worldwide.As a global leader in proton therapy and particle accelerator technologies, we combine innovation, international reach, and strong societal impact.To strengthen our Finance & Tax team, we are looking for a Direct Tax Expert eager to grow and make a difference.Challenges we trust you withTax Compliance Oversee and prepare the filing of corporate income tax returns and other direct tax filings for various jurisdictions.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the organization.Transfer Pricing: Development and implementation of effective transfer pricing strategy and ensure compliance with laws.Analyze the tax implications of business transactions and provide recommendations to optimize tax positions Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, legal, sale) to integrate tax strategy into overall business strategies.Tax Audits and Disputes: Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from government tax authorities.Prepare documentation and analysis to support the company's positions during tax audits.Work on resolving tax disputes.Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on various tax issues, including international tax and transfer pricing, as needed.Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and the finance team regarding tax status and strategies.Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants to ensure thorough tax compliance and utilize best practices.Communicate tax policies and implications effectively to stakeholders within the organization.Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor and track tax-related metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.Prepare detailed tax forecasting and budgeting analyses to inform financial planning.What we valueDegree in Accounting or Finance (Master's or MBA preferred)5+ years' experience in direct tax, tax planning, or transfer pricingStrong knowledge of corporate and international taxExcellent analytical and communication skillsFluent in English and French; SAP S/4HANA is a plusCherry on the cakeCareer growth: Work closely with the Tax Director on corporate tax, international tax, and transfer pricing topics.Work–life balance: Flexible working arrangements with remote work possibilities.Innovation & international exposure: A high-tech environment with complex tax challenges across multiple jurisdictions.Meaningful impact: Contribute to technologies that help save lives.Attractive compensation: Competitive salary and benefits aligned with your experience.#J-*****-Ljbffr
