They are a global leader in Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), power conversion, and data centre infrastructure solutions, serving hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, industrial, and critical-power environments.With decades of engineering expertise, a strong global footprint, and one of the broadest product portfolios in the market, they continue to expand our presence across Southern Europe.To accelerate their growth in Italy, we are seeking an experienced and driven Sales / Business Development Manager to lead commercial activities and develop long-term customer relationships.Role OverviewThe Sales / Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing the Italian market for the full portfolio of data centre power products.You will own the commercial strategy, drive new business, manage key accounts, and support complex project-based solutions through local partners, consultants, and end users.Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial & Market DevelopmentDevelop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned to growth targets across ItalyIdentify new opportunities in data centres, colocation providers, EPCs, industrial sites, utilities, and critical-power end usersBuild and maintain a strong pipeline of UPS and power-infrastructure projectsKey Account ManagementManage relationships with major Italian integrators, consultants, distributors, and end usersLead tender responses, pricing proposals, and technical-commercial negotiationsSupport customers through the full project lifecycleDevelop and strengthen relationships with local distribution partners, panel builders, and reseller channelsTrain, enable, and support partners on UPS and power quality solutionsTechnical & Product EngagementWork closely with engineering teams to position solutions such as:Three-phase UPSModular UPSLithium-ion battery solutionsProvide guidance to customers on design, specification, and best-practice deploymentMonitor competitive activityReport on local market trends, product performance, and emerging opportunitiesRequired Experience & Skills5+ years sales or business development experience in UPS, power electronics, batteries, or data centre infrastructureStrong technical understanding of power protection and critical power solutionsExisting network across Italian data centres, EPCs, industrial customers, or electrical channelsProven track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targetsStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilitiesPreferred QualificationsExperience with three-phase UPS systems and/or lithium-ion battery solutionsFamiliarity with data centre standards, tendering processes, and solution designEngineering degree in electrical, electronics, or related field (preferred but not required)What They OfferCompetitive salary + commission structureFull training and onboarding into a global technical organisationOpportunity to work on high-impact, high-value data centre projectsCareer progression within a fast-growing European business#J-*****-Ljbffr
