JOB SCOPE AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Customer Intelligence Specialist is responsible for providing insights from customers for all company audiences, locally or globally and sharing actionable recommendations. This position leverages SQL (MySQL) to run existing database queries and build new queries for the customers analytics team, conducts advanced analysis by collecting and using a comprehensive set of data that explains all potential business drivers. The output of the Analyst will support a mix of ad-hoc analyses, customer analytics, and reporting and will help on analyzing new onboarding database quality. This role is 90% hands on and 10% client facing to colleagues.

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES:

  • Promote data-informed decision making by building up and maintaining reports through SQL code on a weekly and monthly basis, able to update existing code as business requirements changes. 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base on the consumer, recommending and producing dashboards to allow the business to monitor customer base health as well as keep under control key trends.
  • Employ data and research insights/analysis on the customer database to understand customer types, behavioral segments and inter purchase intervals.
  • Look for opportunities to standardize and streamline analyses (both existing and new requests).
  • Leverages existing coding knowledge, but also seeks growth in coding as well as new technologies that will aid insight development and data visualization. 
  • Stay ahead of innovations and trends in the field of Customer Intelligence & Analytics and recommend best practices.
  • Develop effective presentations on complex ideas that can be communicated in a simple and straight forward manner.
  • Prepare the data-set and access to data from the Customer Analytics infrastructure.
  • Query customer database for designing reporting and analysis.
  • Prepare reports/presentations, with his/her actionable insight and business recommendations.

TECHNICAL SKILLS - PORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor's degree in highly analytical and quantitative areas such as: Engineering, Business, Statistics, Physic, Math or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in analytics, customer intelligence/business insights
  • Excellent analytical skills 
  • Strong knowledge of SQL
  • Strong knowledge of Data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau or Looker)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and its main features (e.g., pivot tables, macros, etc.) and presentation (Powerpoint)
  • Statistical packages and data analysis tools (R, Python, SAS) will be considered a plus
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive organizational change
  • Proactive approach and out of the box and critical thinking
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, under stress and with tight deadlines
  • Fluent English
