FIAC is a Customer Center whose main mission, in Professional Air Division, is to develop the PAD business almost world-wide. The territory includes Europe, Middle East, North Africa, North America, Latin America (excl. Brazil), Eastern Europe, Great Britain, Nordics and Baltics countries, the Balkan region, South Asia, South East Asia and a few other countries.

Mission

The successful candidate will have aftermarket technical support responsibility by handling the requests of technical support and warranty evaluation received by service dealers and customers. This position reports to the CTS Business Line Manager and will work in close cooperation with equipment’s sales team.

Job description

Provide remote technical support and organize trainings for customers and service dealers in relation to specific products with a special focus on connectivity and advanced services.Become the internal technical reference for advanced services to support sales and other colleagues of the technical team.Check constantly bulletins and the technical documentation related to the products part of our portfolioHandle through dedicated tools the requests of technical support, certifications and documentation raised by customersKeep customers updated about the actions requiredHandle warranty requests, following the whole approval/rejection cycle, checking invoices and reports to Product Company through the dedicated toolsWork with quality support to report eventual technical issues to the product companyKeep a constant relationship with the Product Companies and specifically with technical supportSupport colleagues whenever possible in relation to the area of competenceOccasional travel to customer sites and workshops / offices

What we expect of you?

Experience requirements

Experience in compressed air technology or related products will be a strong plusKnow-how about industrial environmentProven strong experience in technical support on industrial equipment, especially with connected equipment.Technical expertise, combining mechanical electronic and electrical componentsCustomer oriented and reliableExcellent communication skills to work at all levels within an organization

Knowledge

Fluent in English and Italian mandatory, other language will be an advantageWilling to travel to visit domestic and international customers and do trainings at their sites.Strong PC skills with MS Office, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge about PLCs and Inverters will be a plus

Living in Bologna or nearby is required as more than 50% of the time will be in office.
