Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions are looking for a Sales Representative who will be responsible for the promotion and the sales of Equipment, Rock Tools, Parts and Services in the Northwestern part of Italy, under the responsibility of the Sales Manager Equipment & Rock Tools Italy, Balkans & Med.

The resource is required to develop the sales in the area under his/her responsibilities, being a point of reference for customers and dealers and identifying potential customer.

As a Sales Professional you will:

manage sales of products and services to customers within Northwest Italy.

retain and grow business with existing customers and generate sales from new customers.

anticipate and understand customer needs and match them with our product offering to maximize customer value and sales profit.

visit existing and new customers who may be of strategic importance to the organization

assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services; respond to more complex customer enquiries

negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets.

collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence to product and sales management by using the applicable systems.

establish annual, quarterly, monthly, or weekly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met.

cooperate with the service team in order to identify and address customers’ needs in a proactive and efficient way

Required skills:

Sales oriented and/or technical University degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum experience of 3-6 years in B2B technical sales, with previous experience in customer management, pricing negotiations etc.

English language knowledge (both written and spoken)

Valid driving license

To be successful in this role, you should be service minded, possess strong communication skills and can work independently as well as in a team.

Extensive travelling (80% of the working time) across the assigned area is required.

You are based in the Northwestern part of Italy (Novara, Varese, Milano, Monza, Bergamo, Pavia, Vercelli, or Alessandria).
