Atlas Copco Italy is looking for a new employee who will become our Sales Area Manager for Northern Italy.
You will be primarily responsible for executing sales plans for revenue and profit growth company programs and services in your assigned territory.
You will develop a consultative sales approach with an emphasis on strong account leadership skills and selling competitive business. Additionally, you will build long-term relationships with an existing customer base by understanding their key business drivers, needs, and problems.
You will implement the group’s strategy in this core market to deliver profitable business in line with the group’s objectives.
You will provide knowledge-processing production. Experience in the process filtration market will be a plus.
You will work in different markets such as General Industry, Automotive, Chemical, Paint/Coating/Inks, Glass, Steel, Pulp & Paper, OEM, and Resellers.
Main Tasks and Activities:
- Work closely with current customers in your defined territory to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales.
- Develop strong relationships with key accounts.
- Generate and execute sales plans in your existing customer base and with other assigned prospective customers to meet defined territory profit increase goals.
- Meet the sales target budget.
- Follow up on existing quotations.
- Execute marketing surveys on competitors acting in the same area and customers.
- Issue sales proposals to key accounts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial).
- Minimum experience of 3 years in this role or a similar role.
- Domiciled in Milano or surroundings.
- Fluent English is a must.
- Knowledge of process filtration and filtration technologies.
- Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
- Strong technical communication skills – both written and oral.
- Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Word & Excel.
