We are looking for a
Safety and Fire Prevention specialist (ASPP) to join our headquarters at Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), reporting directly to the
Head of Manufacturing Services and functionally report to
RSPP, Health, Safety and Environment.
You will be responsible to perform all the necessary activities in order to identify risks for Safety & Health and to set up preventives and protective actions by ensuring compliance with current laws.
- Staying up to date on current laws on work safety and health issues;
- Performing assessments aiming at identifying risks (due to: roles/activities performed, equipments/tools used, chemicals or other materials, external firms, noises, wrong postures, etc.) art. 2, 28, 29, 30 del D. Lgs. 81/08;
- Coordinating and supervising the activities of plant firefighting service operators, including ordinary and extraordinary firefighting systems maintenance service (D.P.R. 151/2011 art. 6, D.M. 10/03/98, D.Lgs. 139/2006);
- Setting up preventive and protective actions, such as:
- Verifying that plant and offices are compliant with fire laws (D.P.R. 1 agosto 2011, n. 151, D.M. 3 agosto 2015);
- Verifying that systems and equipments are compliant with current laws (art. 70, 71 del D. Lgs. 81/08, directive 2014/68/EU, D.M. 37/08, D.M. 11 aprile 2011);
- Hydrants functionality check, maintenance book updating (D.P.R. 151/2011 art. 6);
- Company emergency plan and plant/offices maps updating (D.M. 10/03/1998);
- Verification of injuries occurred on workplace to identify causes and prevent it;
- Organization of special transport for dangerous goods (ADR-IATA);
- Relationship with institutions, ministries, regional, provincial and local administrations for the competent communications;
- Support for employees in order to prepare documentation in case of professional illness;
- Participation to "health programs" (checkup, workplace improvements);
- Other preventive and protective actions to put in place if necessary;
- Organizing training on safety and health issues (fire prevention, first aid, emergency plan, etc.) art. 18, 37 del D. Lgs. 81/08;
- Steering consultancy services on safety and health; to get support for training activities, benchmarking/health statistics, analysis
- Acting as "Addetto Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione". Art. 31,32 D.Lgs. 81/0
- To input RDA for the competent issues;
- Estimating costs for relevant activities and to measure possible gaps.
About you
- Engineering University Degree
- Work Health and Safety major is a plus
- ASPP (Addetto Al Servizio Prevenzione e Protezione) certification
- 35 years' experience in in this specific sector and in the coordination activities of teams and external service companies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Safety, Energy and Environmental rules like D.Lgs. 81/08, ISO 50001, etc.
- Fluent English and Italian, German will be considered as a plus
